Daisy Jacobs is a 30-something girl living life in the great Midwest. By her side always is her faithful companion Sadie the dog. Daisy goes to work daily in her boring office with such characters as John Denver Lady, all the while wishing to win the lottery so that she can have a life of leisure in a beach bungalow somewhere, and yes, Carrie Bradshaw’s shoe wardrobe (though not Carrie’s dress wardrobe, which would look very silly here in the Midwest).
Lest you think Daisy is just a girly-girl obsessed with shoes and pretty things, she also loves talking about politics and current events. Just don’t ask her who she voted for in the last election. It was not a proud moment.
She also loves her baseball team and enjoys beating her bf Smarty at fantasy sports. He is her best friend, although, she is constantly canceling her subscription to his blog when they are fighting (that will show him!). But then she signs up again. Symbolic of their relationship. (Also, Smarty totally wrote that part about the blog. Daisy gives credit where credit is due.)
